The essence of the Quad setup is to improve the thruster configuration, providing control during intense rail engagement. By splitting the central thruster fin into two smaller ones, it reduces drag. As the two rear fins are effectively a single in a thruster it is important that they have the same characteristics, namely a 50/50 foil. Engaged on the rail, the leading fin and its adjacent rear counterpart collaborate to grip the wave's surface, maintaining control. This combination of features produces the fantastic combination of drive, control, maneuverability and liveliness for which the quad fin system is renowned. This set consists of four FCSII compatible Pro Glass fins with a machined finish
