Spring-loaded center fin retainer.
Free delivery everywhere in Australia.
This item allows for quick fitting and removal of center fins with just a half turn and works equally well on both front and rear tab center fins.
It requires assembly onto your fin and is designed to remain fitted to the fin permanently. The retainer consists of a finger turn securing pin, spring, bottom plate, grub screw, and Allen key. The thread for the grub screw is in the bottom plate. The bottom plate should be fitted with the raised lug facing the fin tab as shown in the photos.
To fit the fin in the board with the retainer attached, line up the plate with the slot in the fin box. Slide the fin into position as usual and push the fin down hard into the fin box. Push the securing pin down and give it half a turn to secure it into the slot. Give the fin a bit of a pull up to ensure the lug engages with the top of the slot. To remove the fin push it down hard and push down the retaining pin and give it half a turn to disengage, then remove the fin as usual.
